The calling for our lives is to give and serve others as Jesus did. At 7th Son Ministry we are the hands and feet of Christ. Reflecting Jesus by acting on the universal commands of the gospel. Meeting the fundamental needs of those in financial difficulty.
"If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person."
1 John 3:17
Mission
To serve those that have encountered a life changing event. To assist them with housing cost, food, clothing, and financial assistance on a temporary basis.
Serving Mecklenburg and Union County.
As a young boy, I remember my mother making sure we attended church most Sundays. Her faith was great, as was the impact she had on my life. At the young age of 8 years old I decided to try to live a life that would make my mother proud. I lost her and my father, two short years later. However the divine influence she had on my life inspired me to serve my country, my city, my church, and my community.
Suffering tremendous loss in my life has taught me to be brave, resilient, and compassionate. No one is exempt from the storms of life that will inevitably come to us. Fortunately for me I was the seventh son, I had brothers and sister to fill the gap that my parents left behind. The heart for founding this ministry is simply to honor my mother’s faith by stepping in the gap for others in their time of need. - Ben Ratliff
